We are using to encourage a brisk healing response in DENTISTRY and DERMATOLOGY.
Furthermore, to enhance better result, we support it with low-power laser.
We are using advanced lasers for hard and soft tissue in Dentistry to improve the regenerative effects of the treatment.
On the other hand, the lasers are used in Dermatology for specific management of many skin conditions, lesions, scarring, dyspigmentation and atrophy.
Cleaning and Prevention
Dentistry is founded on the principle of prevention.
All patients are recommended biannual cleanings and examinations. Not only to do help you quash dental problems before they arise, but even to feel your gums healthier, and your teeth cleaner and whiter, because a professional cleaning removes hard plaque that cannot be removed by brushing and flossing alone, involves an anti cavity treatment to help to protect your teeth and gums for achieving general well being.
Professional teeth whitening is faster, more effective, and longer lasting that treatments you find over the counter. As we age, our teeth darken over time. Chemical whitening uses a mild acid whitening method to remove stains from teeth.
We can brighten your teeth by five to ten shades in a single session, but maintaining good oral hygiene and steering away from certain foods and beverages will help keep any future whitening services to a minimum.
Newer techniques for teeth whitening include laser teeth whitening which is becoming more popular as awareness grows about its effect.
A filling is just one of the ways to fill the cavity on the tooth to preserve your health.
There are two different types of fillings: amalgam (otherwise known as silver fillings) and composite. Furthermore, the amalgams are environmentally toxic and dangerous to your health because it contains mercury. That’s why our clinic is only working on composite and highly recommends it to our patients.
Root Canal Treatment
A root canal is the space within the root of a tooth. It is part of the naturally occurring space within a tooth that consists of what is called the “pulp chamber” that connects the root to the surface.
There are essentially two primary ways to fill a root a root canal: Vertical Condensation and Lateral Condensation.
According to the latest research, warm Vertical Condensation shows that it is more like to have an advantage in completely filling up roots of the teeth.
While a root canal can be painful, the experts at AIMP make sure that you root canal procedure is as pain-free as possible. In nearly 9 out of 10 cases, root canals are successful. In rare situations where teeth have had this procedure performed, the tooth may become more brittle and be more susceptible to a fracture.
In order to match teeth it is recommended to a crown placed over a tooth that has a root canal. This will help to rebuild and protect it.
Veneers are a less invasive alternative, but may only be a solution for those with slight tooth damage or discoloration. Veneers are a glass-looking, ceramic material that resembles closely what natural tooth enamel looks like.
A crown, otherwise known as a cap, is custom-fitted to your bite and is placed over your natural tooth or dental implant.
To replace a missing tooth that has neighbouring teeth with decay and/or large fillings, or a tooth that has been missing for a long time, we recommend bridges as opposed to dental implants.
Night and Snore Guards
Excessive jaw clenching and bruxism can accelerate tooth and jaw deterioration.
Meanwhile, snoring can be dangerous for your health and even bring cardiac arrest.
For this purpose we customize night guards to your bite, which acts as a cushion between the top and bottom dental arches, furthermore creates more space between the front teeth to prevent the top and lower jaw from touching.
Snore guards look similar, but instead of acting as a cushion or spacer, they keep the lower jaw forward, thereby preventing pressure on the soft palate.
Our dentists make every effort to preserve your natural teeth. However, extractions are necessary when decay has made the tooth impossible to preserve or when you have an advanced periodontal disease. When a tooth is malformed, damaged, impacted or ingrown, different procedures are used, but all extractions are considered surgery. Depending on which tooth is removed, we can offer you a replacement in the form of a dental implant or oral prosthetic.
A dental implant mimics the form and function of a natural tooth, which consists of a root and a crown. The dental implant is a titanium/ceramic root that gets fitted into a socket that we create in your jaw. Once the root heals, we place an artificial crown on top. The new crown is customized to match your bite and the color of your teeth.
Missing multiple teeth in a row may want to consider dentures for both cosmetic purposes and overall wellness. Depending on the amount of teeth missing, we may suggest partial or complete dentures.
Our dentists can discuss all the details so you can make an informed decision.
Orthodontic Appliances and Braces
There are various ways to correct called mal-occlusion like crooked or crowded teeth and differences in the relation of the upper and lower jaw as a cross bite, over bite, etc..
The treatment can be done with the use of traditional braces or without them.
Aesthetic way of putting braces involves attaching brackets and wire to the back of your teeth. In this case, extra oral hygiene is required.
Another technique works by way of placing, in sequence, clear, hard plastic retainers over your teeth, which are customized to your bite. They are requiring strong discipline because they must be removed for eating and may influence your speech.
Whether you are an adult or a teen, our orthodontist will help you decide which method is best for you.
